We are the descendents of our grandfather Vital Gormez, and our biggest passion is: to preserve his nougat recipes, dating from 1926. Our team carefully operates according to his principles of slow cooking avant la lettre:
- honey and sugars are cooked in copper kettles
- we use fresh egg white, almonds, pistachios and sundried fruit
- everything is free from gluten, preservatives or artificial colours
- we respect ourselves and our environment
So… we do not compromise on quality! We might just serve you one of the best nougats you’ve ever tasted.
Our workshop may be traditional, it’s high-tech at the same time. We are based in Deinze (near Ghent) in Belgium, that small country with a long tradition of experienced craftsmen.
What you order here is made by our team, without intermediates. You are supporting a local company on a human scale.
