This is the original hard nougat our grandfather Vital Gormez started with in the roaring twenties. Slowly cooked honey and sugars, in a blend with stiff peaks of beaten egg white, enriched with no less than 30% gold roasted almonds and topped with a pinch of vanilla. With that typical bite… although it could be wise to let it slowly melt on your tongue!
